Repair, restore or replace?
Timber deck repairs. We assess damaged boards, visible fixings and accessible supports. Replacement boards may differ in appearance from existing timber. Structural concerns need assessment before surface work.
Timber sanding and refinishing. Suitable timber can be prepared and refinished after necessary repairs. The approach depends on its condition, existing coating and exposed fixings.
Composite replacement. Discuss Modern Deck options for replacing worn decking. Existing frames must suit the chosen system, including condition, support spacing, drainage and clearance. Composite replacement is separate from timber sanding.

Questions about your deck
Can my deck be sanded instead of replaced?
That depends on the material and condition. Suitable timber may be restored; deteriorated boards or support issues may need repair first. We do not offer full-surface sanding of capped composite as a timber restoration treatment.
Can the existing frame be reused?
Possibly, after checking its condition and suitability for the chosen decking system.
Does composite need care?
Yes. Regular cleaning is still required. Follow the current care guide for the selected range. Warranty terms also vary by product and use; manufacturer product cover is separate from installation scope.
How much does it cost?
Size, access, repairs, product selection and supporting-frame work affect the quote. Send approximate dimensions and photos to begin.
